Scope of this Standard
This code of practice specifies the minimum requirements for facilities which cater for recreational diving in Trinidad and Tobago. Specifically to the service provided to the public by operators for remuneration. Covers the safety and operational procedures to be adhered to by recreational diving establishments in Trinidad and Tobago. Specifies equipment requirements for dive operators and establishes specifications the care and maintenance of such equipment. It covers service and facilities requirements for three main areas of service provision: (a) training and education; (b) organized and guided dive tours; (c) rental of diving equipment. It does not apply to those facilities which undertake commercial diving.
